Act Confident Without Hesitation

This can be quite a task considering it’s the first time you are sitting for an interview but you have to pull off this lie. You have to act confident and make the employer feel that you have it all together and perfectly fit the job. Only confidence can get you there without much hassle.

Prepare to ask at least two questions. At the end of most interviews, your potential employers will ask you if you have any questions you want to ask them. You should prepare at least a handful of questions and pick the ones that are the most relevant to ask; this shows that you’ve done your research and are excited about the position.

Prepare to explain why you’d be a good fit for the company. Another thing you need to get ready to say is why you’d be a great fit for the company. Check out what the employees at the company are like and what the company values the most when it comes to the position you’re seeking & you’d be a perfect fit for the job you’re interviewing for.

Study the entire job description and prepare stories.

Carefully think through each element of the job description for the position you are interviewing for beforehand and prepare concrete examples of when, where and how you have done all the specific things described in that job description.

Don’t bring up salary or benefits, but be prepared to answer the Dreaded Salary Question directly if asked.If asked point blank what you made at your last job, or what your salary expectations are going forward – don’t play games or avoid answering. You need to prepare direct and truthful responses to those questions.

Prepare a list of questions you can ask. Almost every interviewer asks near the end of an interview: “Do you have any questions?” Candidates are often judged by the quality of the questions they ask … and candidates who have no questions at all might be perceived as having no interest in the position.
