DEVELOP EXTREME SELF-CONFIDENCE

Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit

Keep yourself grounded – this is where people tend to get over-confident and over-stretch themselves. And make sure you don’t start enjoying cleverness for its own sake…

One important key to success is self-confidence. A key to self-confidence is preparation.

Looking at your goals, identify the skills you’ll need to achieve them. And then look at how you can acquire these skills confidently and well. Don’t just accept a sketchy, just-good-enough solution – look for a solution, a program or a course that fully equips you to achieve what you want to achieve and, ideally, gives you a certificate or qualification you can be proud of.

The first step involves getting yourself ready for your journey to self-confidence. You need to take stock of where you are, think about where you want to go, get yourself in the right mindset for your journey, and commit yourself to starting it and staying with it.
More than just thinking positive, you have to put it into action.

If you are under-confident, you’ll avoid taking risks and stretching yourself; and you might not try at all. And if you’re over-confident, you may take on too much risk, stretch yourself beyond your capabilities, and crash badly. You may also find that you’re so optimistic that you don’t try hard enough to truly succeed.

Think About Your Strengths

Looking at your Achievement Log, and reflecting on your recent life, think about what your friends would consider to be your strengths and weaknesses. From these, think about the opportunities and threats you face.
Make sure that you enjoy a few minutes reflecting on your strengths!

To feel more self-confident, you can use positive affirmation – positive statements that are meant to reprogram your mind to seeing yourself in a better light.
These include statements such as: “I am worthy”, “I’m a great leader”, “Everybody likes me”, and so.

There are a few ways to do it. You can write down your own mantra and repeat it to yourself every morning or You can write the positive statements on a piece of paper and put it somewhere where you will always see it (stick it on a wall or on a fridge), you can also write your affirmation on a mirror.

Leverage your strengths

If you keep focusing on your shortcomings, sooner or later you will lose much of your confidence After all, if there are so many things you’re bad at, and so many mistakes you’ve made, then where is that confidence going to come from?
Rather than thinking of what you’re bad at and working on that, embrace your strengths.
